You Are the Orbital Maintenance Technician

Deep in space, there are stations no one has visited for years. Drift in with your jetpack to tear off the embedded meteoroids, clean the surfaces eroded by photon bursts and sterilize the modules caked with residue. Pick your tool to match the damage type and savor the satisfaction of a job well done.

The Right Tool for the Right Damage Type

• Detach Tool — Tear the meteoroids loose with its extending claw.

• Scorcher — Smoothly strip away the modules eroded by photon bursts. That "powerwash" feeling you can't put down as the surface cleans up right in front of you.

• E.S. Collector — A two-mode multi-tool: with Pull mode you draw in chemical waste, with Burst mode you break apart bio residue.

Station Types and Lines of Work

Damage densities vary by station type. Pick the kind of work you enjoy and get to it!

• MINING — Heavy and physical. Tear off meteoroid debris and strip away eroded plating. Work where your muscles do the talking.

• RESEARCH — Precise and meticulous. Clean up bio residue and work through delicate modules one by one.

• REFINERY — Dense and careful. The patient, meticulous work of drawing out chemical waste.

The Work Loop

Take a contract, fly to the station, finish the job.
At first movement is demanding; the more you upgrade, the more it flows. You upgrade your suit and your tools each on its own, and every few levels you find yourself doing the work more easily than before.
