Pingo is an AI desktop pet that can chat, roast, work, and remember. It stays at the edge of your screen. You can talk with it, and within the permissions you allow, it can observe your screen and react to what you are doing.

Freely choose the AI service you want to connect

Pingo supports multiple AI connection options. You can use local models, configure third-party APIs, or choose the official cloud service. Whether you care more about local running, flexible configuration, or a smoother out-of-the-box path, Pingo tries to keep the choice in your hands.

Customize its personality, voice, and appearance

You can customize Pingo's personality, speaking style, way of addressing you, voice, and appearance. Appearance supports codex-pet appearance packages and DragonBones animation imports, while voice supports custom voice cloning. Different personas can pair with different voices and appearances. With appearance packages and Steam Workshop content, Pingo becomes less like “an AI” and more like a desktop companion that belongs to you.

It remembers you and secretly keeps a diary

Pingo has long-term memory and can gradually remember your preferences, habits, recurring topics, and the way you get along. It can also organize memories and diary notes so companionship does not stop at a single conversation. You can review, manage, and clear memory content, letting it remember what should be remembered and forget what you do not want to keep.

More than chat: it can help with small tasks

Pingo has a certain amount of agent capability. It can load Skills and knowledge bases to help you organize materials, analyze documents, search the web, write some code, and complete modest tasks within its limits. During tasks, Pingo tries to show what it is doing and provide the execution process.

Supports MCP and more extension capabilities

If you want to turn Pingo into a stronger desktop companion, you can also connect more capabilities through MCP services and extension tools. Based on the services you enable, it can read knowledge, call tools, or connect to external workflows.

Let your desktop pet “play” games with you

Pingo includes a built-in Game Center. You can play the built-in minigames, while your desktop pet observes the situation, analyzes strategy, or roasts you. All built-in games support desktop pet takeover, letting Pingo participate with its own personality, memory, skills, and reasoning. Through MCP integration, supported game flows can also reproduce these capabilities, letting your desktop pet truly play games.

Bring your desktop pet into the Workshop

Pingo supports appearance packages and Steam Workshop content. You can install desktop pet appearances made by other players, or share your own creations with more people. A new set of action animations, a new character look, or a themed appearance that fits a certain persona can all become part of Pingo. We hope the Workshop is not just a place to “change skins,” but a space where players expand how desktop pets can express themselves.

Pingo's screen observation, task execution, AI services, extension tools, and game takeover capabilities stay under your control. You can choose which capabilities to enable, which services to connect, which memories to keep, and you can adjust its personality, voice, appearance, and permission boundaries at any time.
