Why Early Access?

“Mines.cafe Desktop is already fully playable and provides the complete desktop experience we set out to deliver for our initial release. We're using Early Access to continue expanding the platform alongside our community by adding new features, improvements, and modding capabilities. Early Access allows us to gather feedback from players and creators to help shape the future of Mines.cafe.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Mines.cafe Desktop to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months. Development timelines may change as new ideas and community feedback influence our priorities.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to continue expanding Mines.cafe Desktop with additional features, improvements to the modding experience, quality-of-life updates, and new community-focused additions. The full version will build upon the existing foundation rather than fundamentally changing the experience players receive today.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the complete desktop client for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Players have access to Steam achievements, community features, extensive modding support, Mines.pro access, and Android access through Steam account linking. While we continue to add new features and improvements, the current version is intended to provide a complete and enjoyable experience from day one.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may gradually increase the price as significant new features and content are added during development. Players who join us during Early Access will receive all updates released throughout the Early Access period at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is one of the most important parts of Mines.cafe's development. We actively monitor player feedback through our Discord server, Steam Community discussions, and our built-in reporting systems. Suggestions, bug reports, and community-created content will continue to help guide future updates and improvements throughout Early Access.”
