About This Game

Aliens are threatening to destroy your homeland, and the only way to stop them is to find the strongest heroes and form a team capable of defeating them. Unfortunately, the budget only allows you to recruit the four most worthy ones, so the greatest tournament of all has been announced: "Who Is The Next Chosen One?".
Broadcast to the public, citizens are eager to discover the winners and cheer for their favorites.

You are Doommask, the chosen champion of the tournament, and you will face every participant team by team, one each weekend. After each match, you’ll decide whether to recruit your defeated opponents into your team (up to a maximum of four members) or send them home after their crushing defeat.

The problem is... YOU ARE NOT A REAL HERO!!
Now you must find a way out of this situation and your only weapon is your charisma. Form alliances, sabotage other contestants, and do everything you can to make everyone believe you are a TRUE hero!

Will you be able to keep your secret until the end of the tournament?

In "Who Is The Next Chosen One?", you are called not only to win turn-based RPG battles, but also to manage your time outside of them. Spend your free time getting to know the other contestants: will you sabotage them to prevent them from facing you? Or befriend them by helping them with their personal struggles?
Alternatively, you can train your team to become the strongest in the tournament and overpower anyone who steps into the ring! Or you can focus on your public image through meet-and-greets, small jobs and public speeches, all to gain attention.
After all, truth isn’t what is real, but what people believe. If you can convince others that you possess an ancient demonic power or that you can summon a meteor to destroy the world you might gain powerful leverage over your opponents. This is the only way Doommask can learn new abilities, he definitely can’t just punch someone who could disintegrate him in a second!
Use your Charisma to discourage and intimidate your enemies, draining their Willpower and leaving the dirty work to your teammates...
And remember, this is a show! Who would enjoy matches that end instantly because your team wipes out everyone? No one. Winning isn’t enough, you need to make it spectacular! Get the Audience involved: have them cheer for you, start a wave, suggest actions, and witness incredible moments. You have no idea what a properly hyped crowd can do.
If you put on a great performance, you’ll be richly rewarded, and sponsors will start to notice you!Oh, and one last thing: when they ask you to promote products during battle, be careful about what those items actually do!! The rewards may be tempting, but blowing up contestants might be a bit too much for the audience... and terrible for your reputation.

• A calendar system that structures your actions: each day and evening you can choose how to spend your time, but every seven days, a battle awaits you in the arena!

• A classic turn-based battle system with a twist: Doommask has no offensive abilities! Talk to the audience, your allies, or your enemies to turn the tide of battle, and let your teammates handle the fighting. Just be careful, if you’re left alone, you’ll have to find a way to survive!

• Dynamic abilities and item effects: using a skill like “Throw a Dead Fish” will have different results depending on whether your opponent is a cat… or a fish.
