Why Early Access?

“DEPLETED is made by a single developer – me (hi mom!). I don’t want to rush adding features or risk making a mess. Instead, I want to work closely with the community, gather feedback, and see what works and what doesn’t in order to create the best possible experience for players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect DEPLETED to remain in Early Access for roughly 6–12 months, depending on community feedback and development progress. Our goal is to expand the game’s content, improve balance, and polish the overall experience before a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of DEPLETED, I plan to expand the game with additional maps, new Ritualists and Survivors, and more interactive objectives to increase replayability. I also plan to improve visual and audio fidelity, add more environmental variety, and refine gameplay mechanics based on community feedback. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of DEPLETED introduces the core asymmetrical horror gameplay. Survivors can move, pick up and use items, and try to survive against a relentless Killer. The Killer can hunt, sabotage, and use their signature ability to pressure the survivors.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“DEPLETED is free-to-play and will remain free throughout Early Access and after the full release.”
