Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows me to develop C.U.B.E alongside the community. Releasing the game early gives players the opportunity to experience it as it grows while providing valuable feedback that helps shape its future.

My goal is to use Early Access to improve existing systems, identify issues, balance gameplay, and expand the overall experience based on real player feedback. Community involvement will play a major role in helping C.U.B.E become the best game it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect C.U.B.E to remain in Early Access for approximately 6-12 months. Development timelines can change depending on the complexity of new features, bug fixes, and community feedback.

Rather than rushing toward a specific release date, my focus is on continuously improving the game and adding meaningful content throughout the Early Access period.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version represents the foundation of C.U.B.E, but I plan to continue expanding and refining the experience throughout development.

Areas I would like to improve and expand include:

• Additional content, levels, and gameplay experiences
• More enemies, mechanics, and challenges
• Expanded progression and unlockable content
• Additional multiplayer features and quality-of-life improvements
• Improved visuals, audio, performance, and polish
• Ongoing balancing and bug fixing based on player feedback

The exact direction of development will be influenced heavily by community feedback and what players enjoy most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of C.U.B.E is fully playable and includes the core gameplay experience, multiplayer functionality, and the main systems that form the foundation of the game.

While the game is already enjoyable and regularly updated, it is still actively being developed. Players may encounter bugs, balancing issues, unfinished features, or content that changes over time as development continues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I may gradually increase the price as significant content, features, and improvements are added throughout development.

Anyone who purchases C.U.B.E will receive all future updates to the core game at no additional cost. Any new gameplay features, content updates, improvements, and expansions developed as part of C.U.B.E will be available to all players who own the game. Only optional DLC, if released in the future, would be sold separately.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is one of the most important parts of C.U.B.E's development.

I actively engage with players through my YouTube channel, which has grown to over 140,000 subscribers, where I regularly share development updates, behind-the-scenes content, and interact with the community. Many players may already know me from my previous game, Climb The Backrooms, which has benefited greatly from community feedback and ongoing support.

I also run an active Discord community with over 1,000 members where players can share suggestions, report bugs, discuss ideas, and help shape future updates. Feedback gathered from YouTube, Discord, Steam discussions, and other community channels will play a major role in helping prioritize improvements and future content.

Throughout Early Access, I plan to share development progress openly and work closely with the community to help shape the future of C.U.B.E.”
