What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“ZipRush: Surf the Void is a VR high-speed anti-gravity racing game with a strong focus on player-created Routes, community creativity, and online competition. Because the core experience depends heavily on the Foundry and player feedback, we believe Early Access is the right path for the game.
By involving players early, we can gather real-world feedback on VR Foundry controls, racing comfort, magnetic movement physics, online play, and leaderboard competition. Community feedback and creations will help guide how we improve and expand ZipRush toward its full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current target is to remain in Early Access for several months, with a planned 1.0 release around October 2026. However, this timeline may change based on community feedback, development progress, and the level of polish needed before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand the amount and variety of content available in ZipRush. Our current development goals include adding more official Solo Routes, increasing the variety of objects and mechanisms available in the Foundry, improving online systems, polishing VR UI/UX, and optimizing performance and visuals.
These plans may evolve based on player feedback during Early Access, especially around Route creation, racing comfort, online competition, and the types of community-made content players enjoy most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the playable core experience of ZipRush. Players can experience our omni-directional magnetic high-speed racing mechanics, play official Solo Routes such as the Magneto Loop series, create custom Routes in the Foundry, upload them to the cloud, and share them through Challenge Codes.
The game also includes Global Speed Leaderboards for Route competition and an initial online lobby system that is open and playable. Some content, UI/UX, online features, and Foundry tools are still being improved during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The game will be available at a lower base price during Early Access as a thank-you to early players who support the game while it is still being developed. We currently plan to moderately raise the price for the 1.0 release as more content, features, and polish are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a key part of ZipRush’s development. We plan to communicate with players through our official Discord server and Steam Discussions, where players can report bugs, share Foundry ideas, give feedback on VR comfort and controls, and discuss online competition.
We will also monitor community-created Routes, tags, download activity, and leaderboard competition to better understand what players enjoy creating and racing. This feedback will help guide future updates, Foundry improvements, official Route design, balance adjustments, and overall polish.”

About This Game

A VR extreme sport where walls, ceilings, and open space become your track

ZipRush is a high-speed VR movement sport set in the ruins of a collapsed world still being uncovered. Ride walls, surf ceilings, launch through open void, and use Gravity Arc to latch onto surfaces and redirect yourself through the environment in real time.

Every course is a space to read, test, and master. The fastest lines are not always obvious - they are discovered through experimentation, creativity, and control.

Your performance is shaped by your movement and technique. Timing, momentum control, and body orientation all directly affect how you move through space. Whether you are chasing a faster solo run, racing other players, or building your own tracks, mastery comes from experimentation, physical skill, and repeated refinement.

Create tracks, publish them, and compete across a growing library of community-built challenges. Official maps teach the fundamentals, while player-made maps continue to expand what is possible. As the community invents new routes, challenges, and ways to play, ZipRush continues to evolve with them. The ruins have a history. Not all of it has been found.

Ride Walls. Surf Ceilings. Rewrite the Route.

Race across unconventional surfaces and impossible spaces where the environment itself becomes the playground.

Master Gravity Arc

Latch, swing, and redirect your momentum with a real-time tether system that unlocks advanced movement, recovery, and line invention.

Invent the Fastest Line

There are no fixed racing lines. Test ideas, chase shortcuts, and discover routes that feel more like parkour or skate lines than traditional track layouts.

Built Like a Game. Played Like a Sport.

Performance is driven by body control, timing, and movement technique. Every run is a test of physical mastery.

Challenge Up to 4 Players

Race official and community-built tracks in real-time multiplayer where route choice matters as much as raw speed.

Build and Share Tracks

Use the Track Builder to design, test, publish, and share your own courses — from smooth flow runs to technical precision challenges. New track-building possibilities will continue to expand as the game grows.

Enter a Player-Driven Ecosystem

Browse community creations, compete on featured tracks, and keep improving as new routes, new challenges, and new rivals emerge over time.
