“We are a two person team building Death Dealer, and Early Access lets us shape the game with players from the start.

The core loop is already playable, and we want to refine and improve the experience based on real player feedback.

Death Dealer is built around unpredictable multiplayer moments, and those only come to life properly with a community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Death Dealer to be in Early Access for around 18 months, though this may change as development progresses and we respond to player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand on the Early Access build with more level content, weapons, character cosmetics, and gameplay variations.

We also aim to fix bugs and refine balance, design, and difficulty to deliver a more complete and polished experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the full core gameplay loop. Players can play the card game, earn chips, use the slot machine, and take part in the hunt phase.

The game is fully playable and designed for multiplayer sessions, with ongoing improvements to balance, variety, and overall polish throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer Death Dealer at a lower price during Early Access.

As new content, features, and polish are added, the price will increase when the game reaches version 1.0.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community throughout Early Access by actively listening to feedback and observing how players interact with the game.

As a small team, community input will have a direct impact on development. This includes:
• Gameplay balance and pacing during both the card phase and hunt phase
• Feedback on readability, clarity, and overall player experience
• Identifying what creates the most fun, tension, and replayability
• Highlighting issues, bugs, and areas that need improvement

We will gather feedback through:
• Steam forums and discussions
• Community playtests
• A Discord server where players can share feedback and ideas
• Direct interaction with players during development

We will regularly review feedback and use it to guide updates, prioritise improvements, and shape the direction of the game as it evolves.”

About This Game

Play a deadly card game deep underground, where losing means becoming the prey.

Up to 6 players sit at the table.

Win chips, then risk them at your personal slot machine for powerful rule-breaking modifiers.

But someone always loses. When the alarms sound, the marked player must run while the others hunt them through the bunker.

Every match builds tension, then breaks into chaos.

Outplay your opponents, push your luck at the slot machine, then survive the hunt that follows.

Stay close, call out targets, or keep quiet as panic sets in.

No two rounds play out the same.

Personal Slot Machines

Each player has their own slot machine at the table.

Spend your chips to trigger rule-bending modifiers that can completely change how the card game is played.

The Hunt

The loser is marked.

The others have a short time to track them down through dark bunker corridors.

We’re a two person indie team with limited resources, so we use a range of tools to build this game. The vast majority of the final game is created through experience, hard work, and traditional methods.

During development we use procedural and AI assisted tools where they make sense for the project.

Every part of the final game is shaped, reviewed, and approved by us. Nothing is generated by AI while you’re playing.

The soundtrack is created using AI assisted music tools, with all music selected and implemented by us to fit the tone and pacing of Death Dealer.
