Chessillo is a tactical chess roguelike where each run challenges you to build an army strong enough to overcome 3 acts and defeat 3 enemy kings, each with their own abilities and challenges.

Recruit pieces, strengthen your composition, and adapt your strategy in every run. Each piece can gain abilities from 6 factions, each focused on a different playstyle, allowing you to create synergies, specialize your army, and discover new ways to dominate the board.

Choose between 3 characters, each with a unique passive ability that stays with you throughout the run, along with their own set of faction abilities to shape the way you play.

Discover more than 36 abilities and turn them into the core of your strategy. Enchant your pieces, upgrade them at the forge, reorganize your army, and get rid of your least valuable units to keep pushing forward act after act.

Not every battle is won the same way. In Chessillo, you will face 3 combat modes:

Regicide — capture the enemy king.
Survival — endure the required number of turns or eliminate all enemy pieces.
Elimination — leave no enemy piece standing.

At the end of each act, one of the 3 enemy kings awaits you, each with their own set of abilities and an exclusive event designed to put you under pressure and force you to adapt.
