What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Ninja Dodgeball already has a working core gameplay loop, including P2P multiplayer, a tutorial, unlockable content, and multiple playable maps. Early Access will allow the community to actively influence the continued development of the game.

During Early Access we plan to expand the game with additional maps, new unlockable items, improvements to the tournament system, and additional gameplay features based on player feedback. Community input will help shape gameplay balance, match flow, and the competitive ruleset.

Because Ninja Dodgeball focuses heavily on multiplayer competition, real player feedback is essential for refining mechanics such as dodgeball speed, player movement, ball physics, and match pacing. Early Access will allow us to iterate quickly with the community and grow the game together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“April 30th, 2027

We currently expect Ninja Dodgeball to remain in Early Access for roughly 6–12 months. This timeframe will allow us to expand the game with additional maps, gameplay features, and improvements to multiplayer systems while incorporating community feedback.

The exact timeline may change depending on player feedback and development progress, but the goal is to continue improving the game until it reaches a polished and feature-complete full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Ninja Dodgeball is planned to include:

More maps and arenas

Expanded unlockable cosmetics and progression

Improvements to the tournament system

Additional gameplay modes and rule variations

Expanded multiplayer features and stability improvements

Additional visual, audio, and animation polish

Community feedback during Early Access will help determine which features and improvements are prioritized.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core gameplay experience:

Fully playable dodgeball gameplay

Peer-to-peer multiplayer matches

Multiple playable maps

Unlockable items

A tutorial introducing the mechanics

A functioning tournament system

Players can immediately jump into matches and experience the core gameplay while helping shape the future development of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may adjust the price over time as additional content and features are added during development. Our goal is to offer good value to players who support the game early while continuing to expand the game through updates.

No price adjustments are planned for when leaving early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of Ninja Dodgeball’s development. We plan to gather feedback through:

The Steam community forums

Our Discord community

Playtests and Early Access feedback

Direct player discussions about balance and gameplay

Player feedback will help guide balance changes, new maps, gameplay features, and improvements to the overall competitive experience.”

About This Game

Ninja Dodgeball

Step into the arena where reflexes, timing, and precision decide everything. In Ninja Dodgeball, players battle in fast-paced matches where a single ball becomes the ultimate weapon. Master its physics, deflect it with perfect timing, and send it flying back at your opponents at impossible speeds.

Inspired by classic dodgeball modes like Genji Dodgeball and TF2 Dodgeball, Ninja Dodgeball brings the concept into its own unique, skill-based arena experience.

Created by a solo-indie developer who does some basic grunt healthcare stuff as my job :D

Master the Ball

The ball isn’t just thrown — it’s controlled through skillful deflection and movement. Build momentum as players volley it back and forth until it becomes a lightning-fast projectile capable of taking down anyone in its path.

Ninja Movement

Stay alive with fast, responsive ninja abilities:

  • Reflect incoming balls back at enemies

  • Dash to evade impossible shots

  • Attack to redirect and control the ball’s trajectory

Precision and timing are everything. One mistake and you're out.

Fast Competitive Matches

Jump into intense arena matches where every round becomes a high-speed duel of reaction time and strategy. The longer a rally lasts, the faster and more dangerous the ball becomes.

Key Features

  • Fast-paced multiplayer dodgeball combat

  • Skill-based ball physics that reward precision

  • Reflect, dash, and attack mechanics for advanced play

  • Increasing ball speed that escalates every rally

  • Competitive arena gameplay focused on reflex and mind games

Only the fastest ninjas survive.

Can you deflect the impossible?
