Why Early Access?

“We want to get this game in players' hands as quickly as possible to make sure we're listening to great ideas and community consensus as we move to rapidly iterate across all game systems.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming to launch around early June, so 2-3 months are expected.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As we improve the game, the Early Access version will continue to mirror the full game.

Right now we have two levels full of enemy progressions, 15 characters to unlock and play as, and 1 boss. As we progress through Early Access, we plan to add significantly more levels, more characters, and many more enemies.

Throughout Early Access, we're also planning to add more content like items, weapons, equipment, and powerups. Of course, all of this will include more ways to review all the items and weapons you've found, created, or unlocked in other ways.

And, of course, we have several more systems we want to build and fully flesh out before the full game release. These include a merchant system where you can buy and sell ingredients and other items, more ways to extend the crafting system, and achievements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have a playable first level with enemies, minibosses, a single boss, many starting weapons and characters to unlock, and infinitely more content to be crafted by YOU as you play (no, really, the crafting system literally generates new game data unique to you).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord that we wholeheartedly welcome any and all ideas, suggestions, and feedback. We hope to see you there!”

About This Game

Alchemy Survivors is a time survival game that blends classic Survivors gameplay with infinite crafting and endless content to discover.

You're an alchemist trying to survive in a world overrun by monsters. Yes, you'll find weapons to help you mow down thousands of creatures, but your real strength lies in alchemy: you have the power to combine any items you find into brand-new items unique to your game! 

Combine weapons, equipment, and materials to gear yourself up to take on the endless onslaught thrown at you.

CONTROLS

  • Arrow keys / WASD to move

  • [Tab] to view inventory

TIPS

  • Walk over the crafting altar to start crafting (you'll need items and souls!)

  • Collect everything you can; you never know what will be useful later!

  • Defeat one of the shiny bosses that spawn every minute to find souls

  • Craft brand new items unique to your game install every time you use a soul

  • Crafted items can show up in your future runs, too :)

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Our crafting system depends on AI to generate new game data when you combine a combination of items not yet seen before, so you never run out of weapons to discover and experiment with. We also generate text and sprites for any new items created.

Assets for the game also use image generation: the title screen and other UI elements use generated textures and graphics. These images have been touched up by a human and reused on our Steam page also.
