What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm Viktor, a 21-year-old indie developer and student. I love playing games, but I love making them even more. This platformer is my passion project, and I want to create something truly special with tight gameplay, clever traps, and high replayability.
I'm choosing Early Access because community feedback is crucial for me. I want players to help shape the game's difficulty, level design, and mechanics. As a solo developer with limited time and budget, Early Access allows me to continue development while sharing the game with players who care about indie projects. Your support and feedback will directly influence the final product.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months, depending on community feedback and the scope of new features. As a student developer working part-time, I want to ensure each update is polished and adds meaningful content.
I'll be transparent about development progress through regular updates and community posts. The goal is to release the full version when the game feels complete and offers a satisfying experience from start to finish.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core gameplay loop: procedural level generation, falling/rising platform traps, camera transitions, and multiple chunks per run.
We plan to add:
More level chunks and biome variations (cave, etc.)
Additional trap types
A progression system (unlocks, achievements, stats)
More visual polish (particles, animations, effects)
Soundtrack and expanded sound effects
Potentially a story mode
These are plans, not promises — I'll prioritize features based on what the community enjoys most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable with the following features:
✅ Procedural level generation (random chunk order each run)
✅ Multiple trap types (falling platforms, rising platforms, auto-reset traps)
✅ Smooth camera transitions between level sections
✅ Death and respawn system with level reshuffle
✅ Visual effects (screen fade, spawn effects, level title UI)
✅ Multiple level chunks (currently 5+ unique chunks)
✅ Win condition and progression tracking
The core gameplay loop is complete and tested. However, content is limited compared to the planned full release, and some features may be added or adjusted based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I may increase the price when the game leaves Early Access, as the full version will include significantly more content, levels, and polish. However, players who purchase during Early Access will get the complete game at no additional cost when it launches.
I want to reward early supporters who help shape the game with their feedback. Any price changes will be announced in advance with clear communication about what new content justifies the increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is the heart of this project! Here's how I plan to involve players:
📢 Steam Discussions — Share bug reports, suggestions, and feedback
📊 Surveys & Polls — Vote on upcoming features and prioritize development
🐛 Bug Reports — Help me find and fix issues quickly
💡 Level Design Feedback — Tell me which chunks and traps are fun (or frustrating!)
📝 Regular Dev Updates — I'll post progress logs, sneak peeks, and changelogs
I read every comment and review. As a solo developer, your input directly shapes what I work on next. Let's build this game together!”
