About This Game

You have been here before.

The room is familiar. The people are too. Small details refuse to line up, and every answer seems to outlive the moment that produced it.

Required Synergy Workshop: Deja Damnation is a psychological horror narrative adventure about identity, responsibility, and the pressure to become whatever other people need you to be.

The story unfolds across nine chapters and more than 25 major narrative sequences. Choices alter relationships, change later scenes, and leave consequences that may not become clear until much later.

Every Choice Leaves a Trace

Dialogue changes according to how you respond, who you trust, and what you choose to investigate. Characters remember your treatment of them, even when your own memory becomes difficult to trust.

Help can become leverage, trust can become obligation, and a choice that protects you may leave someone else carrying the damage.

Look Closer

Optional investigations reveal contradictions, missing context, and traces of events the main path only hints at.

Curiosity opens additional scenes and changes how later events are understood. The more you learn, the harder it becomes to accept anyone's version of events without asking what they gain from it.

The Story Continues Between Chapters

New conversations, messages, and investigations appear as the story progresses. Familiar spaces change over time, and relationships continue developing away from the main path.

People ask for help, loyalty, and silence. Small concessions can become expectations that are much harder to refuse.

  • Messages continue conversations outside major scenes and offer limited reply choices.

  • Dossiers collect conflicting information about characters, locations, and events.

  • Memory fragments preserve recovered images, sounds, and moments.

Visual Style

Deja Damnation combines 1990s-inspired anime with semi-real graphic-novel illustration, expressive linework, heavy screentone, analog texture, and a cold industrial palette.

Dialogue boxes, menus, camera views, and other interface elements become less reliable as the story progresses. Visual corruption develops alongside the narrative and changes how familiar scenes are read.
