This immersive experience can be enjoyed on desktop or—most impressively—in Virtual Reality, bringing visitors closer than ever to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle: from its striking exterior grounds to selected, meticulously reconstructed interior spaces and engaging knowledge-based scenes.

Architecture, history, and atmosphere are not merely explained—they are experienced as space. Going beyond factual information, the application offers a deeper insight into the life of Ludwig II of Bavaria, the legendary “Fairy-Tale King.”

Ludwig’s visions, dreams, and inner contradictions become visible, as do the technological innovations of his era—including remarkably forward-looking ideas that fascinated him, such as early airship concepts like those of engineer Gustav Koch.
