About This Demo

Black Omens: House of Crimson Silk is a first-person, single-player, escape room style puzzle horror game set in a fictional location within the late Edo era Japan.

Play as Idate Chiyo, a newly recruited paranormal investigator of the Tokugawa Shogunate's Magical Arcane Division, tasked with her first assignment to investigate the string of strange occurrences reported to originate from a long abandoned mansion sequestered within the forested interior of the small coastal city of Gōtsu in Shimane Prefecture. Within this once proud abode, Chiyo encounters terrifying and malevolent spirits, devious contraptions and a dark family history which will threaten her very survival.
