Why Early Access?

“CHEATED is already a complete experience where the core is cheating your friends and watching them fall. But the potential for more worlds and content is huge, so I want to keep updating it so there will always be a fresh new way to experience the game. Early Access lets me expand on that foundation based on what players want most. Planned updates will include new worlds beyond the house with new cheats, and many more exciting things.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current plan is for the game to remain in Early Access for 2+ years as we do new monthly updates with new worlds and cheats.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core game and the first world are complete, but we plan to add new worlds, new cheats, and more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is already a complete experience with the first world (the house). 2-8 players or streamer mode. 3+ players in normal mode is the best way to experience the game. One complete world with a full vertical climb from the floor to the attic. 158+ cheats are included, like ones that fake-crash your friends' PCs mid-jump and sends them falling as you laugh and they scream.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price of the game is not planned to change at all.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will read your feedback across Steam discussions and Discord (and there is also an in-game feedback form). If you have ideas for new worlds or cheats, do let us know! We also plan to possibly add modding tools later so players can eventually create their own worlds and cheats.”
