About This Demo

Fish all the Riftlings!

Welcome to a mystical island where the waters aren't quite what they seem. Beneath the surface, shimmering rifts open into other worlds. And you're here to fish them! Join up to 12 players from around the globe to catch bizarre creatures, paint by the shore, and uncover what lies in the depths of the Rift.

This is the Demo version of Rift Fishing, which does not contain all planned features and especially content of the full version.

What you can expect from the Demo:

• Bugs: Not the fun-to-catch type, we will get there someday! But for now, expect to find various bugs in the game, that I will fix as quickly as possible.

• Fish through Rifts: These mysterious worlds hold unknown creatures and artifacts

• Share the vibes: Chill offline, or hang out with 12 players online, chat, fish and paint

• 25~ Riftlings to catch: Not your regular fish! Some cute, some scary!

• Collect artifacts & upgrades: Equip mysterious gear from the Rift to fish deeper and catch rarer creatures

• Customize yourself: Your clothing, body, face, colors, voice, minigames

• Paint canvases: Mix ink to make new colors, save your creations

• Fill the Riftpedia: Catalogue findings and specialties about the Riftlings

• Complete expeditions: Hunt specific Riftlings and unlock unique rewards like emotes

The Demo is still missing instruments, more refined painting features and other activities like stone skipping. Menus and QoL features are still being worked on and improved upon. Everything is, really. The Playtest has shown that the customization is already quite strong, but especially clothing content is very sparse currently.

Only English language is supported in the Demo.
