Leaving Early Access: March 2026

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to involve the community in the development of the game. Player feedback is extremely valuable for improving gameplay balance, fixing bugs, and identifying areas that can be enhanced. During this period we will monitor feedback and make adjustments to create the best possible experience before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for around one month. This time will be used to gather player feedback, address issues, improve balance, and polish the overall experience before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include additional improvements, better balancing, bug fixes, and quality of life updates based on player feedback. We also plan to introduce features such as leaderboards and further gameplay polish to deliver a more complete and refined experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable in its current state. Players can experience the core gameplay and main mechanics. However, there may still be some bugs that we have not yet discovered. During Early Access we plan to fix issues, improve balance, and add additional content and improvements based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The game will be priced the same during Early Access and after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to listen closely to player feedback during Early Access. Players will be able to share their suggestions, report bugs, and discuss improvements through the Steam community. This feedback will help us improve gameplay balance, fix issues, and guide future updates and content for the full release.”

About This Game

Florentum

This is a strategy focused tower defence game built around smart planning and meaningful decisions. Instead of relying on fast reactions, success depends on how well you manage your upgrades and prepare for increasingly challenging waves of enemies.

Core Gameplay

Each run begins with a basic enemy wave. As you progress, every new wave becomes stronger and more demanding, testing your strategy and long term planning. After completing a wave, you earn Technology Points (TP). These points must be spent on upgrades in order to unlock and survive the next level.

You cannot progress without investing your TP wisely, every decision shapes your build and determines how far you can go.

Upgrade System

This game features a wide range of upgrades, each offering different strategic advantages.

Because you earn limited TP after each wave, you must carefully prioritize which upgrades fit your strategy. There is no single correct path, different upgrade combinations can lead to different outcomes.

Increasing Challenge

Enemy waves scale in difficulty over time, introducing:

  • Stronger enemies

  • Higher enemy numbers

  • Increased pressure on your defences

  • Boss Fights

What to Expect

Florentum is designed for players who enjoy thinking ahead, optimizing builds, and mastering systems through smart decision making.
