What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Trypan is a complex game with a lot of dynamic systems and moving parts. Ensuring the quality and stability of those systems can be a lot of work for a single developer.

I also believe that getting feedback early on is very important and has already pushed the game in the right direction!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is difficult to predict how long Early Access will last, but I am aiming for around 1 to 1.5 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version will feature all 4 chapters, aimed at around 7–8 hours of gameplay (10–12 hours if you take the time to explore everything).

Each chapter brings in new story elements, new monsters, new weapons, and new ways to defend yourself!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is an extended version of Chapter 1 and the full version of Chapter 2.
Both chapters feature many monsters, items, mechanics, puzzles, and hidden things to discover!

With each update, I plan to polish existing chapters and keep them updated as I develop the others.
Additional chapters will be released in chunks on a public beta branch of the game until they are fully developed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price of the game will increase with each chapter's release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Trypan has been developed based on feedback from the very start, and there are no plans of changing that! The game's demo has already provided very valuable feedback.”
