About This Game

Stardust Sandbox is a creative sandbox simulation inspired by classic falling-sand games. It offers a free and experimental environment where you can explore physics-based interactions, build structures, trigger reactions, and observe emergent behavior in a world fully under your control.

There are no predefined objectives or restrictions. The experience is non-linear and entirely driven by curiosity, experimentation, and creativity. Whether you want to create complex systems, simple scenarios, or just relax while watching elements interact, Stardust Sandbox adapts to your playstyle.

The game features a wide variety of interactive elements, each with unique properties and behaviors. Combining them leads to unexpected results, making every experiment feel different. Time manipulation tools allow you to pause, resume, and carefully observe each reaction in detail.

Controls are simple and intuitive. The mouse is used for most interactions, including placing elements and navigating menus, while the keyboard allows you to move around larger maps and control time flow.

Key features include:

  • 86 interactive elements with unique behaviors and interactions

  • Physics-based sandbox simulation

  • Time control: pause and resume the simulation at any moment

  • Non-linear, open-ended gameplay

  • Retro-style pixel art visuals

  • Resizable and adjustable screen for any resolution

  • Original soundtrack

  • Day and night cycle system

  • Customizable interface elements

If you enjoy sandbox simulations, creative experimentation, or simply relaxing while observing complex systems emerge from simple rules, Stardust Sandbox offers a space where imagination and logic meet.
