Why Early Access?

“Drive With Friends is made to be played with friends, so we want to shape it together with the players. Early Access lets us learn how different groups play, listen to feedback and keep improving the game step by step.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 months. This is our best estimate and may shift a little based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add the following before the full release:
- New routes and mountains with new biomes, obstacles and traps to survive together
- New cars and more car customization (skins and cosmetics), plus new party modes for 2-4 players
- Steam achievements, more balancing, polish and quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is playable and already offers the core experience: online co-op driving with friends, shared cars, obstacles and a route to the summit. As with any Early Access game, some features are still being worked on and you may run into rough edges.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add new content and features during Early Access. The full release price will be higher than the Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will follow Steam reviews, discussions and bug reports closely and use this feedback to guide development. We plan to share updates regularly and involve the community in shaping the game.”

About This Game

One car. Too many drivers. One of you has the gas. One steers left. One steers right. One is on the brake... probably. Together you have to get a tiny car up a mountain full of saws, hammers and rolling mines - and nobody agrees on anything.

One car, four drivers


In Team Car mode, 2-4 players share a single car and every player controls a different part of it. Shout "LEFT!", argue about whose left, hit the brake at the worst possible moment and swap roles when the blame gets too much.

A mountain that wants you gone


Climb one long route from green lowlands across a desert island, over a sea bridge and up a snowy spiral to the summit. Spinning saws, swinging hammers, crushers, chain balls, stone cannons, wind blowers and launch pads are waiting. Checkpoints catch you when it all goes wrong - and it will.

Watch where you roll


Mine droppers send spiked mines bouncing down the road. Dodge them, jump them, or learn exactly how high a car can fly.

Bump 'em off


Prefer your own wheel? In Own Car mode everyone drives their own car, and weight-based physics decide who stays on the road. The Tank shoves. Boing jumps. Bolt is gone before you blink.
