What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Retro Chaos is a co-op game, and the best ideas come from playing together. Early Access lets us build the game with our players: we want to hear what makes co-op sorting fun, which products and stores you want next, and what needs more polish.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for around 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add new store types beyond the retro electronics shop, more products and shelves, new skills and perks, more character customization, Steam achievements, and more co-op features and quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable solo or in online co-op for up to 4 players. It includes the retro electronics store with 7 sections and thousands of products to sort, throwing and stacking, a skill tree, 10 characters, built-in voice chat and an in-store music station. Expect some bugs and balance changes while we keep improving the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add new content and features during Early Access. The full release price will be higher than the Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read every Steam discussion and review. We plan to release regular updates with patch notes and use your feedback to decide which features and stores to build next.”

About This Game

Clean up the mess. Together.

The retro electronics store is a disaster: CRT monitors on the floor, consoles in the headphone aisle, cartridges everywhere. Grab your friends, split up the aisles and turn the chaos back into perfectly stocked shelves — or make it even worse along the way.

Throw it. Catch it. Stock it.

Play solo or in online co-op with up to 4 players. Toss products across the aisle, catch a teammate's throw mid-air and argue about who put the headphones with the TVs. Built-in voice chat keeps the yelling close.

Stack it high

Carry towering stacks of CRTs, consoles and cassettes — if you can keep them balanced. Every product has its own place across seven sections: Audio, Computer Parts, Games & Consoles, Monitors, Phones, TVs and Gadgets.

Grab it first

Your friends are also your competition. Snatch the product they were about to shelve, beat them to the right aisle, or just throw it back.

From total chaos to the perfect shelf

Find the right shelf, fill every slot and watch the store come back to life. Earn money for every correctly placed item and unlock skills like Magnet Hands, Long Arms, Full Hands, Trick Shot, Sprint and Quick Stock.
