The game is already playable and delivers its core experience:

However, several systems, content elements, and balance adjustments will continue to evolve throughout development.

Early Access allows us to:

gather player feedback on gameplay and difficulty

We plan for Corps Royaux – Chapter 2 to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months.

The full version of Corps Royaux – Chapter 2 aims to deliver a more complete, polished, and well-balanced experience than the Early Access version.

During Early Access, we plan to:

gradually expand the game’s content (new dungeons, bosses, equipment, and activities)

further develop and refine existing gameplay systems

improve overall balance, including difficulty, progression, and rewards

expand and enhance professions and mini-games

optimize performance and stability

refine the user interface and overall user experience

strengthen visual consistency and artistic identity

The full release is expected to offer a richer and smoother experience, while preserving the core vision of the game and incorporating feedback gathered from the community throughout Early Access.”

The Early Access version of Corps Royaux – Chapter 2 is playable and stable, and already includes the game’s core systems.

At this stage, the game features:

the Guild House serving as the main hub

playable dungeons with monsters and bosses

core combat and progression systems

professions and mini-games

a solid visual and artistic foundation representative of the intended final direction

Some features, content, and balance elements are still being expanded and refined. Ongoing updates will continue to improve the experience based on development progress and community feedback.

Early Access represents an important stage of development, allowing players to experience the game while actively contributing to its evolution.”

“Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

Corps Royaux – Chapter 2 is and will remain free-to-play.

Early Access is completely free to download and play.
The game includes optional in-game purchases, but none of them provide competitive advantages or unfair progression benefits.

In-game purchases are limited to cosmetic or convenience items and are never required to access core content such as dungeons, bosses, or overall progression.

We plan to evolve both the game’s content and its in-game purchase options throughout development, while maintaining a fair, balanced, and player-respectful experience.”

The community plays a central role in the development of Corps Royaux – Chapter 2.

Throughout Early Access, we plan to involve players in several ways:

About This Game

Adventure at your own pace

Create your character and find your place in Corps Royaux, a 2D online multiplayer RPG. Explore villages, forests and graveyards, complete quests and take to the seas. Choose your next adventure through combat, professions and encounters with other players.

Dungeons, bosses and party adventures

Prepare your equipment and enter dungeons with their own objectives, entry requirements and rewards. Manage your lives, battle monsters and take on the final boss. Check the registry before an expedition and use adventure lobbies to recruit companions for an activity.

Set sail with your crew

Take the helm, steer your ship and fire the cannons. Share piloting, gunnery and repair duties, watch your hull and disable opposing ships to board them. Develop your naval skills and bring sealed cargo back to port to discover its contents.

Hands-on professions

Gather resources and develop your professions. At the foundry, manage the heat and time your pours into the moulds. At the forge, heat, hammer and quench the metal: your precision helps determine the quality of the result.

Alchemy, cooking and lockpicking

In Royal Alchemy, combine fragments on a board to gather recipe ingredients. In Royal Kitchen, cook alone or with a partner: chop, stir and keep an eye on the heat. Share the tasks and handle kitchen mishaps. Locks and mechanisms also bring lockpicking challenges to your explorations.

Defend the world together

Join forces during invasions to defend objectives against waves of enemies. Meet other adventurers for world boss encounters, contribute to the fight and follow the event results. Experience and loot bonus events add variety to the world’s activities.

Challenge other players

Test yourself in ranked PvP. In Capture the Chest, coordinate your team, protect your base and bring back the opposing chest while keeping your own safe.

Your home and your companions

Furnish your house with your collection, move and rotate decorations, and open the doors to visitors whenever you choose. Your pets can stay at home too. Take a companion on adventures to help it progress, unlock spells and assist you in combat or loot collection.

Take a seat at the table

Discover Texas hold’em poker, blackjack against the dealer and European roulette. These mini-games offer another way to take a break between expeditions.

Find your own path

Gain experience, improve your equipment, develop your professions and prepare for your next outing. Parties, guilds, quests, banks and social encounters make preparation part of the adventure. Rain, cloud shadows and musical atmospheres accompany your travels on land and at sea.

Planned additions

We would like to develop farming around player homes, including hiring workers to tend the farm, as well as mining. Inter-island delivery contracts for NPCs, mounts, horse racing, archery competitions and mounted jousting are also among the additions we are considering. These additions are not presented as available in the current version; their scope and schedule may change.
