About This Game

One Bard. Infinite Emoji Monkeys. Simian Shakespeare is an idle game where you hire monkeys to mash their little emoji keyboard at random, generating random strings until the Complete Works of Shakespeare are found - one lucky word at a time!

You begin with a single ape pecking at his keys a character at a time. When it lucks onto a real word it earns peanuts! Spend those peanuts on more monkeys, faster typing, longer words, and weirder helpers, until you unlock the Celestial Monkey, which uses your GPU to type millions of characters a second, a cloud monkey who shares your found words with other players to work collaboratively, and even a mysterious hairless monkey who can help earn all 100 achievements and bring back Shakespeare in a way only previously dreamed of!

Leave it running, check the book on the left, and watch the complete works Shakespeare slowly be unveiled over time!
