About This Game

DeadEye is a frenetic 2D pixel-art roguelike shooter set in a world consumed by pacts and secrets. You play as Douglas or Blood Samurai, heroes bound to the mysterious DeadEye pact—an ability that stops time and allows you to chain lethal actions in an instant. You must make the most of every second to survive hordes of monsters, complete missions, defeat ruthless bosses—including Lorian, a powerful lich who guards the cursed cemetery—and uncover the truth behind DeadEye.

Control time: activate DeadEye to freeze the battlefield for a few seconds; plan your shots, reloads, and movements before unleashing a storm of action.

Revolver and combos: wield a six-shot revolver; firing and reloading with precision maintains your combos, which multiply damage, experience, and gold. Breaking a combo slows your progress.

Waves and dynamic missions: face endless hordes with optional missions that appear during each run. Complete objectives to earn rewards and confront increasingly challenging bosses.

93 artifacts and upgrades: unlock and combine 93 artifacts of varying rarities, including cursed artifacts that grant powerful benefits at a cost. Choose from 11 traits (critical hits, pact upgrades, status effects, bullet effects…) to customize your playstyle.

Pact system: choose from 6 pacts and evolve each one into offensive, defensive, versatile, or neutral versions; every decision can radically change your strategy.

Characters and pets: play as Douglas or Blood Samurai and enhance your progression with unique pets that can equip runes. The higher your pet’s level, the more effective these benefits become—use this system to grow far more powerful.

Achievements and progression: unlock 45 achievements that will integrate with Steam.

Languages and accessibility: available in 10 languages, with configurable controls and touch interface support.

Douglas’s Journey

After sealing a pact with an enigmatic being, Douglas gained the power to manipulate time and chain deadly actions. Yet despite his great power, something stirs within him. His soul has felt heavy and hollow for a long time, and his instincts tell him the answer lies within DeadEye. Driven by the need to reclaim what he has lost and uncover the true cost of his gift, Douglas traverses a hostile world in search of the truth.
