“As long as it takes for the community to be in consensus that the game is prepared for a wider release. Given the current state of the game and its content, an Early Access period of six months seems appropriate. That period could shrink or expand depending on how things go.”

“The primary way in which the Early Access version will differ from the release version is in the content available. Currently we have approximately 250 unique units and spells in the game, with plans to double that number by release. The release version will also feature a robust single-player campaign, whereas the single-player content available right now is limited to AI Skirmishes and to a brief single-player campaign meant to highlight the features available.”

“Currently the game is 100% playable in online multiplayer and in single-player skirmishes against the AI. The in-game map editor is ready for you to use to create your own maps and to share them on the Steam workshop. There are currently more than 250 units including Champions, Spells, Equipment, and Structures, with more units being added in regular updates. More than 125 diverse active and passive abilities currently exist as well.”

“Yes, pricing will change. Everyone who buys into the Early Access period will be receiving a full set of the Fantasy Play Set cards. In the future, we will offer a low-or-no-cost version of the game to bring an expanded player-base in. The opportunity to buy a full Play Set of cards may disappear entirely at that point. Essentially, you should understand that the business model of this game will change over its lifetime with the aim being to bring the largest multiplayer base into the game as we can. It is our aim to provide top-tier value to people who want to support this project in its Early Access period.”
