What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because we want to expand and refine the game together with the community before the full release.

The core gameplay loop is already complete and fully playable. Players can build their economy, expand their operations, automate production with workers, and grow their wealth in the medieval world. However, several systems still need improvement and expansion to reach the level of depth and realism we want.

One of the main areas we plan to improve during Early Access is the fighting system. Currently, the combat used in the betting fights is very simple, and we plan to redesign it to make fights feel more dynamic and believable.

We also want to expand the living world of the village. More NPCs will be added to make the environment feel more active and immersive, including villagers and characters that populate locations such as the tavern.

Another important goal is improving the long-term gameplay loop. We are exploring systems such as random or seasonal events that can affect the player’s economy and decisions. For example, harvest failures, taxes, church demands, or royal events could introduce new challenges and opportunities.

Early Access will allow us to test these ideas with real players, gather feedback, and prioritize the features that make the game more engaging. Our goal is to polish the existing systems, expand the world, and shape the long-term progression of the game with the help of the community.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“2–3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add many NPCs, improve the overall feel of the game, make certain systems and interactions more realistic, and better capture the atmosphere of the era.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and already contains the complete core gameplay loop.

Players start with a small mine and can earn money by extracting resources and expanding into other activities such as farming, livestock production, and woodcutting. Buildings can be upgraded to increase production and value.

Players can hire workers to automate their operations, purchase land, build houses, and earn passive income through rent.

Additional activities such as gambling and betting on fights are already available.

While the game is stable and playable, Early Access will focus on expanding the world, adding more NPCs, improving certain systems like the fighting mechanics, and introducing additional gameplay events and features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback is vital for us. We carefully consider and value all feedback. The feedback we received during the demo period was very helpful and helped shape the game into its current state. That’s why we are always open to feedback from the community. Players can reach us anytime through Discord or the Steam Discussions page.”
