Fast, skill-based arcade shooting meets roguelite builds, screen control, and particle-driven chaos.

Dodge, aim, and exploit the playfield itself while crafting absurdly powerful runs through rule-breaking upgrades.


From a gameplay perspective, ℙarticuliti𝕏 (ℙ𝕏 for short) draws inspiration from twin-stick shooters, roguelites, survivor games, and incremental systems, blending them into a pure arcade experience.

  • With each run, reshape your arsenal through impactful, run-defining upgrades

  • Defeat waves and bosses to unlock new levels

  • And after each run, upgrade your character to progress ever further

  • Exploit specific zones of the screen to get extra bonuses

Choose Your Style

Your weapon choice defines your gameplay.

Grab a weapon you have to aim for a classic, high-control twin-stick shooter experience.

Alternatively, pick a weapon that aims automatically, letting you focus 100% on movement, dodging, and strategic positioning.

Find Your Build

Combine dozens of unique upgrades to create a new death engine every run.

Here are just a few examples:

  • Spicy bounce: Each time a bullet bounces, its damage is doubled. If you have fragments or DoTs they keep this boost.

  • Laser: You now shoot lasers that do 8x damage... You can only shoot up to 8 lasers in the air... But they can combine with fragments.

  • Mimic: Your ship mimics the appearance of the enemies chasing you. They won't chase you unless you fire. Shooting breaks the disguise for a short time.

Positioning Is Power

In ℙ𝕏, the playfield isn’t neutral. Positioning matters as much as what you shoot.

  • XP doesn’t come to you. You have to risk your position to grab it.
    Timing your pickups around special zones can turn a dangerous move into a massive advantage.

  • Temporary zones appear across the screen, offering powerful situational bonuses.
    Exploiting them at the right moment is often the key to victory.

  • Positioning creates momentum.
    Holding the right area, even briefly, can decide whether a run snowballs… or collapses.

  • Builds don’t just stack numbers — they change how you play the space.
    Upgrades interact with movement, positioning, and timing, turning the screen into something you actively manipulate.

It started life as a simple arcade game to toy with graphics made entirely of particles.
And it then evolved into an arcade-roguelite to conform to my tastes.
