You never met your grandfather. So when a lawyer appears with news that you’ve inherited a cinema, confusion hits first, quickly followed by a spark of curiosity. There's only one problem: the cinema is in a country you can't even find on a map, wrapped up in rules you can't decode and watched over by an administration that makes it clear outsiders aren't welcome.

With nothing holding you back, you set off to claim your inheritance: a faded little cinema tucked away on an unfamiliar street, surrounded by signs you can’t read and the constant gaze of strangers.

Cinema Owner is a business simulator where you build your cinema from scratch, growing it screening by screening, popcorn bag by popcorn bag, and decision by decision.

• Sell tickets at your own prices for movies and products. 

• Prepare and sell concessions: pop popcorn and stock beverages. 

• Sell local packaged goods; more categories unlock as your cinema expands. 

• Manage inventory by buying lower and selling higher.

• Start with one hall and a single screening daily, then expand by adding more showtimes or new halls to boost capacity. 

• Design halls from scratch, selecting seats, colors, and decor. Maintain equipment, replacing worn furniture and machines to stay operational.

• Every transaction has risks: run cash through a counterfeit detector to avoid scams. 

• Follow rules or face bans, propaganda, or product prohibitions without warning. 

• Enforce age restrictions; letting minors into adult movies will be noticed. 

• Stay alert; cameras, agents, and checkpoints monitor you. The government may label, report, and reward you. Expect more taxes, restrictions, and bans to complicate cinema operations.
