About This Content

This DLC adds the following things to Wellspring OLC: the GM Toolset, for building and hosting your own worlds, Gate 8 - the official campaign, and the ability to play any world from the Workshop in solo mode.

The base client stays free, and you can invite your friends to join you in any game you host at no cost to them.

The GM Toolset adds worldbuilding and live hosting tools directly to Wellspring. Create complete RPG adventures and persistent worlds without leaving the game and without needing external editors or programming tools.

• 28 No-Code Editor Pages: Paint maps, create items and monsters, design spells and visual effects, build branching dialogue, assign specialized NPC jobs, and customize the formulas that control things like hit chances and XP progression.

• Build from the Existing Game: Open Gate 8 in read-only mode to examine how its maps, quests, encounters, and other content were constructed, then copy assets into your own modules and make them your own.

• Live GM Tools: Host persistent, long-running worlds for up to 16 players to build their characters over time, or run one-shot adventure sessions. Spawn monsters, generate treasure, trigger custom world events, and change the world's time of day while your players are still in the game.

• Steam Workshop: Publish your worlds and adventures to the Steam Workshop for other players to download.

Gate 8 is Wellspring's official campaign and a large-scale showcase of what the game and its tools can do.

Explore a massive world with an original story, 7 distinct peoples, 7 classes, overland wilderness travel, and rebirth paths that unlock at maximum level. Gate 8 can be played solo or with friends.

Anyone can download the free client and join a world you host. Free players have unrestricted access to that world's gameplay systems, including combat, guilds, arenas, companions, message boards, chat channels, and more. They do not need to purchase anything themselves.
