About This Game

Monarchs at Play is turn-based 4x strategy with a board game feel: fast, tactical, and accessible. Choose your monarch, build your empire, and outsmart your rivals – all in just one hour. Play solo or multiplayer matches. Don’t worry about getting overwhelmed like in classic grand-strategy games :)

Features

Place your palace to found your empire. Explore the map to discover new regions & unlock stronger buildings. Optimize your empire’s layout to benefit from adjacency bonuses & improve your resource production. 

Your buildings produce resources that allow you expand and increase your production, each turn. Interact with rival monarchs through trade or military conflict. The monarch who earns the most glory by the end of the game wins.

Monarchs at play is inspired by:
