Why Early Access?

“V.A.U.L.T. PROTOCOL is a multiplayer co-op extraction horror game that we aim to develop together with our community. The core gameplay experience is complete and fully playable. However, we plan to further improve many aspects of the game, including balance, content variety, new maps, new creatures, equipment, anomalies, and long-term progression systems based on player feedback.
Early Access will allow us to shape the game together with our community, gather valuable feedback, and continuously improve the overall gameplay experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current goal is to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 6–9 months.
During this time, we plan to evaluate community feedback and continue improving the game through additional content, gameplay balancing, performance optimizations, and quality-of-life improvements. The duration and scope of development may change depending on community feedback and the overall development process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal for the full release is to expand and refine the Early Access version based on community feedback, creating a more complete experience.

Our current goals include:
New maps and additional areas to explore
New creatures and anomalies
New equipment and gameplay mechanics
Expanded long-term progression systems
Additional missions and gameplay content
Performance and optimization improvements
Gameplay balancing and quality-of-life improvements

These plans may evolve throughout development as we continue to gather and evaluate player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop is complete and fully playable.

Players can play solo or team up with friends to enter dangerous locations, gather valuable resources, encounter creatures and anomalies, complete objectives, and attempt to extract safely.

The Early Access version includes online multiplayer, core maps, creatures, anomalies, an equipment system, and the game's primary gameplay mechanics.

Throughout Early Access, we aim to add new content, improve existing systems, and refine the overall gameplay experience based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We want to reward players who choose to support the game during the Early Access period.

For this reason, the price of the game will increase when the full version is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will be an important part of our development process. We plan to actively communicate with our community through our Discord server and the Steam Community Hub. These channels will allow players to report bugs, share suggestions, and provide feedback about the game.

Throughout Early Access, we will regularly review community feedback and aim to incorporate it into the development of the game whenever possible. We want to develop V.A.U.L.T. PROTOCOL together with our community.”
