Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect to remain in Early Access for several months.
There is no strict deadline — updates will come gradually as new content, improvements, and polish are ready.
The goal is to expand the game naturally without rushing features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include:
• Additional underground layers and unique environments;
• New resource types and ventilation systems;
• Expanded narrative, revealing the true purpose of the Research Centers;
• Full support for achievements, additional translations, and an optional challenge mode.

Our goal is to turn the game into a continuous exploration experience — where each layer reveals a new piece of the collapse’s story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable.
It already features the main gameplay loop — mining, repairing, upgrading, and oxygen progression — along with the first explorable areas and survival mechanics.
New content and narrative expansions will be introduced in upcoming updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to adjust the price gradually as the game evolves and new content is added.
The current version already offers the full gameplay loop, but the price will reflect the project’s growth as the underground world expands and the experience moves closer to the final version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to be part of Afterdepth’s evolution from the very beginning.
Players will be able to share feedback directly through Discord and the Steam Community, helping refine pacing, balance, and new progression ideas.
Regular updates and development logs will keep everyone informed about progress and upcoming goals. ”
