What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to develop the game in collaboration with our community. Our project is a horror game for 1 to 4 players, and we believe that to create a truly frightening and balanced experience, we need active player participation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access until approximately August 1, 2027.
However, these are only approximate dates. The final release will depend on community feedback and how quickly we can implement the planned content and bring the game to a high standard. We don't want to rush things at the expense of quality. We will update you regularly on our progress and any changes to the timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our plans include significant expansion and refinement of the full version of the game. Our goal is to create a deeper, more complete horror experience with rich lore. This is expected to include: more than six game locations (maps), an increased number of interactive objects, additional character abilities, and possibly a seasonal content system. We intend to add new, more complex and intelligent monsters, as well as improve the AI of existing ones. The game will also feature a sophisticated achievement and collectible system, expanded lobby and gameplay settings, and additional cosmetic items. We also plan to rebalance, minimize bugs, fully optimize gameplay, and add final sound effects and music.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the Early Access launch, the game is functional and offers a significant amount of content that can already be explored and enjoyed:

Stable Technical Foundation (Unreal Engine 5): The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and already utilizes some of its capabilities, delivering high visual detail and realistic lighting, crucial for a horror game. While occasional bugs and optimization issues are possible on different configurations, the core gameplay loop is stable.

Map Content: Three unique maps are available, each a complete environment with its own unique narrative to unravel and interactive puzzles.

Multiplayer and Lobby: A fully functional lobby system for 1-4 player sessions is available. The core mechanics of joining, tracking progress, and leaving the game are currently implemented.

Enemies and Threats: Each map features a unique monster or anomaly with its own set of rules and behavior patterns. Players must learn these rules to survive.

Key Mechanics: A basic set of mechanics has been implemented, including the inventory system, picking up and using key items, and interacting with environmental objects.

Important Note: The difficulty balance in the current version may not be ideal, and we are actively seeking your feedback to fine-tune it. Some final polish elements (sounds, animations) may also be missing; these will be added in the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price by adding new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback is key to us. We plan to engage the community in the following ways:
Active communication in the Steam community and on our Discord server: We will regularly monitor the forums to collect feedback on balance, bugs, and new ideas.

Voting/priority system: The ability to vote on which content (new map, new monster, new mechanic) will be added next.

Special testing branches (Beta branches): Providing access to new, unpolished features for the most active testers to gather early feedback before the main update.”
