Why Early Access?

“As a solo developer - It's essential to have the ability to release content gradually.
Adding new activities, balancing existing ones and improving guest behaviour can take time. Core functionality however will be ready to go right from the start. Due to this, I believe releasing into early access is the best way for the game to grow, based on community feedback and suggestions.”

“Camp Paradise: Island Resort Tycoon is planned to remain in Early Access until I, and more importantly the community, feel it is in a relatively finished state. A rough approximation would be 6 months to 1 year, considering I am a solo developer.”

“The full version is planned to have several large baseline islands to start on, many new amenities for guests to enjoy, and lots of new features to make the game feel more enjoyable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Camp paradise: Island Resort Tycoon contains all the features listed in the game's 'About This' section. All listed features are implemented and working, though there is room for improvement. Throughout the Early Access period, all features will receive polish and enhancements based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to slightly increase the price once the game is finished and polished. As new content and features are added, the game's value will grow, justifying the price adjustment. By purchasing during Early Access, you can support the development and enjoy the game at a lower cost.”

About This Game

Your Island. Their Paradise.

You've bought a neglected tropical island. Rubbish litters the beaches, the power is failing, and an old lighthouse watches over a resort that never quite got started. There is somewhere special beneath the mess. You just need to put in the work.

Camp Paradise is a cozy island resort tycoon that combines hands-on first-person work with top-down management. Restore the island yourself, build the facilities your guests need, and gradually turn a forgotten campsite into a holiday destination worth talking about.

Get Your Hands Dirty

At the beginning, there is no maintenance crew coming to save you. Explore the island in first person, collect loose rubbish, haul larger waste away by hand, scrub away grime, restore essential infrastructure and bring the neglected solar panels back online.

The transformation starts at ground level. Every cleared beach and repaired facility brings the island one step closer to welcoming its first guests.

Build a Resort of Your Own

Switch to Overview Mode to shape the island from above. Place campsites, food and drink facilities, toilets, showers, seating, lighting and leisure amenities wherever they make sense. Paint paths through the landscape, decorate empty spaces and build a power network capable of keeping everything running.

Start with the essentials. As your reputation grows, add more comfortable accommodation and unlock headline attractions such as jet skis, hot-air balloon rides and a ferris wheel.

Welcome Guests and Listen to Them

Campers and day visitors arrive by ferry with their own needs, preferences and expectations. Check them in, assign campers a suitable plot and make sure everyone can find food, drinks, toilets, rest and something enjoyable to do. Some guests may even bring their dogs along for the holiday.

Watch their expressions and thought bubbles while they explore, then read the reviews they leave behind. Happy guests improve your reputation and fund the resort's next expansion. Neglected needs, poor facilities and bad planning can send them home early. Their rating will reflect the experience you gave them.

Grow from Caretaker to Manager

As the island expands, doing every job yourself stops being practical. Hire staff to collect rubbish, clean facilities, repair broken amenities and respond when something catches fire.

Use your tablet to manage the resort: monitor finances, adjust prices, track island conditions, review guest feedback and decide where to invest next. The better you understand what is working and what is not, the more confidently you can grow.

Keep the Island Running

A beautiful resort still needs working infrastructure. Restore and expand the island's power supply. Position distributors to cover the amenities that need electricity, and balance demand as the resort grows. Larger attractions create new opportunities, but they also bring greater costs, maintenance and responsibility.

Day turns to night, ferries come and go, guests follow their own routines and the island changes around the decisions you make. There is always another problem to solve, another corner to improve and another reason for guests to return.
