About This Game

The forest is crawling. Keep moving.

Slug Survival is a top-down action shooter about making space when the swarm closes in. Pick your weapon, dash past incoming slime, and fight through the mire to reach the Thorn King.

Use the ground beneath you

Sticky slime pools, toxic ponds and explosive burstspores change how you move and where you fight. Break roots, light beacons and clear paths through trees. Draw the swarm into trouble, then find your way out.

Choose how you fight

Use the Field Rifle, Slime Blaster, Quad Blaster or Ultimate Blaster. All four weapons are included in the base game. Change weapons at region supply camps and choose stacking upgrades between encounters to shape your build.

Push deeper into the mire

Travel through six connected regions, from Mosswood Outskirts to the Black Heart. Face charging slugs, ranged attackers and guardians with openings to exploit. When a shell closes, reposition. When it opens, make your shots count.

Unlocked regions stay available. If you fall, return to the start of your current region with the build saved at that checkpoint.

Finish the campaign. Keep surviving.

Defeat the Thorn King to unlock Endless Survival. Start a fresh attempt against changing combinations of swarms, flankers, objectives and guardians, with brief recovery waves before pressure builds again. Earn scores in the campaign and chase higher ones in Endless Survival on the Steam leaderboard.
