A chaotic survivors-like roguelite where your hero isn’t just a passive bonus. Each hero fights with their own signature weapon or ability: eye lasers, swords, cars, UFOs, guns, and pure nonsense. Stack broken passive upgrades, pick sidekicks, and turn every run into a disaster.

Leaving Early Access: 2027

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Worldwatch expands and Early Access provides us with room to mold it alongside the players.
The game is there, frantic battles, absurd heroes, but we must refine it through real feedback.
We’ll use Early Access to balance the combat, test new heroes, and make sure the game stays funny, weird, and fun to play for a long time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Likely 6 to 12 months.
We need sufficient time to complete all four main stages, and perhaps a few more stages.
The plan is to add additional heroes, weapons, and content and to polish everything as best as we can.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“WorldWatch already includes a complete playable bullet heaven loop with 18 heroes, 11 sidekicks, 24 passive weapons, unlockable progression, one complete stage, 4 bosses, 5 elite enemies, and 24 common enemy types.
The focus of Early Access is expanding the game with more stages, heroes, enemies, modes, balance, and polish based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of the game already includes a fully playable core experience. Players can access one complete stage, featuring 4 bosses, 5 elite enemies, and 24 types of common enemies.
At the moment, the game includes 18 playable heroes, 11 sidekicks, and 24 passive weapons. All heroes and sidekicks are fully functional and ready to play, with the main gameplay loop completely implemented.
The game also features a progression system where players can unlock new heroes, sidekicks, and weapons by playing.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will stay the same.
We want everyone who supports the game early to pay the same as those who join later.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to take part in shaping Worldwatch.
Players will be able to share feedback, suggest new features, and even create hero concepts that could end up in the game.
We’re open to ideas for new phases, abilities, and funny gimmicks, anything that fits the chaotic, over-the-top world of Worldwatch.
The goal is to build a game that feels alive and full of personality, shaped by the people who play it.”

About This Game

The world is in danger.
The heroes are worse.

WorldWatch is a satirical bullet heaven roguelite where incompetent superheroes cause more destruction than the threats they were supposed to stop.

Drive a car through massive hordes. Pilot a UFO. Abduct enemies. Fire eye lasers. Throw swords. Burn crowds. Pick a sidekick. Stack passive weapons. Create completely broken builds. Somehow, call it heroism.

KEY FEATURES

• 18 ridiculous playable heroes, each with unique attacks, mechanics, and deeply questionable methods.

• Drive a car, pilot a UFO, fire eye lasers, throw swords, burn enemies, abduct crowds, and survive your own “heroism.”

• Pick from 11 sidekicks that change your strategy and make every run worse in a useful way.

• Combine 24 passive weapons to create chaotic, broken bullet heaven builds.

• Fight massive hordes, strange elites, and 4 bosses across a complete Early Access stage.

• Unlock new heroes, sidekicks, and weapons through gameplay.

• A dark comedy superhero world where the villains might not be the biggest problem.

• Free Early Access updates with new stages, heroes, enemies, bosses, balance changes, visual polish, and more disasters.

You have been recruited by WorldWatch, a highly questionable hero organization defending the world from aliens, monsters, criminals, civilians, bodyguards, dinosaurs, and other “threats” that probably did not deserve this level of response.

Choose your hero, select a sidekick, build your loadout, and turn every run into a public disaster.

Probably.
