Why Early Access?

“ArcheAge Chronicles is a game we've spent years planning and developing. However, we recognize that the actual player experience may differ from what we originally envisioned. That is why we're launching in Early Access, to hear directly from our players and respond to your feedback quickly. As an MMO, ArcheAge Chronicles truly comes to life when players come together. We believe that growing this world alongside our players is an essential to realizing the game's full potential. So throughout Early Access, we'll continue refining the game based on your feedback and introduce new content regularly.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last approximately 9 to 12 months, with both major and minor updates planned throught this period. The timeline may change depending on player feedback and development progress. We'll keep the community informed of any changes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the world of ArcheAge Chronicles and introduce new features and improvements, including:

- Expand regions to explore in Auroria with new adventures and stories
- Gradually introduce additional gender option for classes, starting with select classes
- Add a third weapon for each class
- Refine combat balance, character progression, and quality-of-life features, including party channels
- Expand life skills and community content
Our plans may evolve based on player feedback throughout Early Access. We'll share a development roadmap with further details.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version features three regions of Auroria: Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins, and Astron Plains. Players can choose from four classes, each with two weapons, for a total of eight weapons. There's also a wide variety of content, including exploration, dungeons, raids, PvP, housing, crafting, trading, and company and guild activities. Each region has its own narratives and quests, but your adventure doesn't have to follow a set path. You're free to venture off, explore Auroria, and create your own adventure along the way.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may change at full release to reflect the additional content and improvements. We'll announce any pricing changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're committed to listening to our players through our official Discord server and Steam Community discussions. We'll regularly share important news, updates on planned improvements and our development direction. In fact, feedback gathered through testing and community discussions has already helped shape several features we're working on, including expanded gender options for classes, a third weapon for each class, and various quality-of-life improvements. We'll continue putting player feedback at the heart of our development process.”
