About This Demo

In this Demo the number of lumberjacks increases too fast for you to fend them of. We hope you will still get a good impression of what it will be like to play the main game.

In Reenchant you protect your forest against the lumberjacks without harming them. Mana Trees are the source of your powers. You have to protect them at all cost. But at night, you are save. You might just fly along and enjoy their beauty.

Regrow apple trees, and their fruits will pacify the axe man, and following trees won't be harmed. Birches can slow them down, while oaks with magic bark will blunt axes, and tire the man. Not enough to leave your realm, but enough to protect your forest until that day you are ready.

Befriend Forest Creatures

In Reenchant, Helping the creatures of the forest is as important as growing trees. Oh... those ducklings always get lost ... Luckily you are around to aid them. Here is frog in need of water - a deer looking for a treat. Ah ... those fairyflies are hard to catch. But I'm sure you can handle that. You can handle anything you want.

Master Your Movement

When everything else fails: Drop some Mana. That will cause the lumberjacks to sit down and meditate. Collect Mana to get a speed boost. Drop it on your path and retrieve it for a swift return.

Short Playtime, High Replay Value

The lowest difficulty will take you 2–4 hours to complete. For those seeking more, higher difficulty levels and procedurally generated tree placements offer further challenges.

Why I made Reenchant

Reenchant was born in the depths of winter, when my longing for green trees became too strong to ignore. I turned to Kingdom, a game I’ve always loved for its mystical forests, but felt sad when, in the end, all the trees were chopped down.

I wanted to reverse that feeling, to create a game where nature fights back and beauty triumphs over destruction.

I find peace in my daily walks through the forest and hope some of that meditative joy has found its way into Reenchant.
