About This Game

A Blackjack Roguelike in the Underworld: Bet Your Soul to Win Reincarnation

Story

You awaken in an underworld gambling hall, moments away from having your soul devoured by Ammit.
Just as all hope seems lost, you are offered a final bargain:
Survive twelve hours until dawn by continuously offering chips as tribute, and you may earn a chance at reincarnation.

With the clock ticking and your soul on the edge, can you seize this last opportunity and return to life?

Core Mechanics

For twelve hours until dawn, you must continue offering chips as tribute to satisfy Ammit’s demands.

Each in-game hour consists of up to three blackjack rounds.

Within these three attempts, you must gather enough chips to meet the required quota.

If you fail to meet Ammit’s demand, or if repeated losses leave you without enough chips to pay the tribute, the remaining cost must be paid with your own soul.

Each round is played as a game of blackjack, where you select cards from nine cards laid out on the field and aim to reach a total as close to 21 as possible.

  • All nine cards are placed face down; however, their relative order is revealed, allowing you to see which cards are higher or lower than others. Using this information, you must infer which cards best suit your strategy.

  • At the start of each round, the dealer presents a target score that must be exceeded. Unless your total surpasses this threshold, you will earn no chips.

  • The number of chips you obtain is calculated as:

(the difference between your total and the target score) × item-based multipliers.

Game Feature 1: A New Blackjack Experience

This game differs from traditional blackjack in two key ways.

First, the cards you may use are limited to nine cards presented in advance. From these nine cards alone, you must determine how to reach a total of 21.

Second, all cards are placed face down, and only the relative order between adjacent cards is revealed as a hint. Because this information represents relative values, it is impossible to identify every card precisely. However, these hints play a crucial role in deciding which cards to select.

Together, these two mechanics create a blackjack experience with a much higher level of strategic depth.

Game Feature 2: Item Builds and Synergies

Each time you clear one in-game hour, you are granted an item.

Some items increase multipliers based on the state of your cards, others enhance score differences, and some manipulate underlying statistics.

As Ammit’s required tribute steadily increases with the passage of time, making effective use of items becomes the key to survival and success.

Game Feature 3: Probability Control of Card Values

Between rounds, you are given opportunities to adjust the probability distribution of the cards used in the game.

The available adjustments are determined at random, but when used effectively, they allow you to leverage your items more efficiently and strategically.
