Cheating isn't against the rules. It IS the rules. Cheater's Table is a chaotic 2-4 player online bluffing card game where you sneak powerful cards, set traps, and call out everyone at the table. Cheat hard, accuse harder, and don't be the one who gets caught. May the best cheater win.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Cheater’s Table is a social multiplayer card game built around cheating, bluffing, catching your friends, and reading the table. The core game is already playable, but we believe the best version of Cheater’s Table will be shaped together with the community.

Early Access allows us to collect feedback on balance, pacing, cheating mechanics, card effects, match flow, and online play. We want to improve the game with real player data and community suggestions while adding more content over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Cheater’s Table to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.

This may change depending on player feedback, the scope of new features, and the amount of balancing and polish needed before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the full version with more cards, more game rules, additional table options, improved progression and customization, better onboarding, balance improvements, and quality-of-life updates.

Our goal is to make the full version more polished, more replayable, and more varied while keeping the core experience focused on cheating, bluffing, and catching your friends at the table.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the core online multiplayer experience, the main card gameplay, cheating mechanics, catching mechanics, and the basic match flow.

However, the game is still in development. Players may encounter balance issues, bugs, missing polish, and features that may change over time based on feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price as we add more content, features, polish, and overall value during development.

Players who buy the game during Early Access will keep access to the full version when it is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through Steam discussions, Discord, player feedback, bug reports, balance suggestions, and gameplay data.

Feedback will help us improve card balance, cheating mechanics, match pacing, onboarding, and future content priorities. We want Early Access players to help shape the direction of Cheater’s Table.”

About This Game

💀 They came as friends. They left fighting over milk.

Cheater's Table is a chaotic 2-4 player online bluffing card game set at a noir-mafia table where everyone is a cheat, and the only crime is getting caught.

The rules are simple.

Match cards by color, number, or symbol.

Empty your hand before the others.

Protect your lives.

Survive the table.

Each player starts with a set number of lives. When a player empties their hand, everyone else loses 1 life. Run out of lives and you're out. Last player standing wins.

But nothing at this table is simple.

Hide cards. Plant Bad Apples. Accuse anyone who looks suspicious, including the friend who was helping you five seconds ago. Get caught cheating and pay the price.

And there's one last catch:

Before you can truly finish, you must also find and discard the hidden Milk card, placed face down at the start of the game.

You don't want to be the one still holding it.

🔥 Cheat Mechanic

Cheating is the heart of Cheater’s Table.

At the start of the game, you receive powerful hidden cheat cards. These cards are stored in different spots on your character, and other players cannot see them.

On your turn, you can press the Cheat button and secretly reach for one of them.

If nobody challenges you, the card is yours.

If someone challenges you, they interrogate you by opening one of your hidden spots.

If they find the card, you lose 1 life, lose that card, and lose your turn.

If they choose the wrong spot, they receive a penalty, and you keep the card.

The more you get away with cheating, the fewer safe spots remain. Every successful cheat makes the next one more dangerous.

🍎 Bad Apple - Trap System

Bad Apple lets you pretend to cheat.

Instead of taking a real cheat card, you can set a trap.

If an opponent challenges you, they fall for it and receive a penalty.

If nobody challenges, the trap backfires on you. You receive the penalty and lose your turn.

So every accusation becomes a question:

Was that really a cheat?
Or did they want you to call it?
