About This Demo

LANDLORD Demo is a creative casual board and card game. When playing the conventional Landlord card game, players often face bottlenecks due to the difficulty of memorizing and calculating cards. Landlord itself is an incomplete information game, but LANDLORD Demo cleverly transforms the ever-changing strategies during gameplay into a visual scenario. It reshapes the traditional card gameplay into a reasoning game more akin to chess or Sudoku. We believe LANDLORD Demo can offer you new strategic perspectives and gaming experiences, further enhancing your Landlord skills.

Each card is an independent slot machine, displaying the card's status through the content on the slot. These statuses include [Identity], [Whether It Is a Base Card], [Card Type], [Whether It Is a Base Card], and more. As the game progresses, you’ll find that all revealed information is clear at a glance. You’ll no longer overlook decision-making foundations due to misremembering cards, as you might have in the past. As the game moves into the endgame, it will increasingly resemble a chess match. At the same time, the visual interface makes it easier to train your card memorization skills.

The game includes single-player and multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, you can compete against high-difficulty AI to train your decision-making and card memorization skills, while unlocking over 80 achievements and experiencing various edge-case scenarios in Landlord matches.

In single-player mode, we will track players’ win counts against high-difficulty AI under various roles and compile leaderboards based on this data. Join the intense training now—climb this mountain, and they will hear your story.

In multiplayer mode, you can invite two friends to participate in a 16-round LANDLORD Demo match. Multiplayer mode includes phases not available in single-player, such as bidding, doubling, bombs, "Spring," "Anti-Spring" doubling, and score tracking. From this new perspective, the game reveals itself in a whole new light. Gather your friends and challenge your teammates!

Some leaderboard and achievement tracking features in LANDLORD Demo will be temporarily unavailable, but this won’t hinder your experience in local single-player or multiplayer modes. Explanation Regarding "Dou Dizhu": "Dou Dizhu," as a well-known traditional playing card game mechanic, is generally considered an idea or system, the basic rules of which are typically not protected by copyright. However, the Game "LANDLORD" is a new board and card video game formed through our original adaptation, expansion, and interpretation of this traditional gameplay. The copyrights and trademarks protected by this Notice specifically refer to the unique expression, original rules, art assets, software code, and commercial identifiers created by us based upon this foundation.
