What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Blyte is still in development, and we have chosen to release the game in Early Access rather than wait for the final version.

The game still contains bugs, performance issues, and some elements that need to be improved or reworked. Early Access will allow us to gradually fix these issues, but more importantly, it will allow us to gather feedback from players and improve the experience based on their reactions.

The main story, environments, and gameplay mechanics are already playable, but some aspects may still change during development.

By purchasing Blyte in Early Access, you are joining a version of the game that will continue to evolve. Your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions will directly help us improve the game.

We would rather be transparent about the current state of development than pretend the game is finished when it isn't.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This timeframe may evolve depending on community feedback, the development of additional content, and the time needed to reach the level of quality we want for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Blyte already contains the core experience, but the game is still actively being developed.

During Early Access, we plan to add a significant amount of additional content, including new areas, new gameplay sequences, and more action-oriented scenes. We also want to further develop the story and improve the pacing and overall experience.

A major part of the development will also be dedicated to fixing bugs, improving performance, polishing gameplay, and making the different systems work together more smoothly.

The final version will therefore offer more content, a more polished experience, fewer bugs, improved performance, and a more complete version of the story.

Some elements may also be changed or improved based on player feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“lyte is currently fully playable, with a large part of the core experience already in place.

The game currently features several environments to explore, the main gameplay mechanics, and a significant part of the story. However, development is still ongoing, and some elements may continue to evolve.

There are still bugs to fix, performance issues to address, and several aspects of the game that need further improvement and polish. We are also working on additional content, including new action scenes, gameplay sequences, and additional narrative elements.

The Early Access version is therefore a playable version of the game that is still actively being developed. It allows you to experience Blyte in its current state while taking part in its development towards the final version.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“price increase with add on coming”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play an important role in the development of Blyte during Early Access.

We will encourage players to share their feedback, report bugs, and suggest ideas or improvements. This feedback will help us identify issues that we may not encounter during our own testing.

We will also follow community discussions to better understand what players enjoy, what works less well, and which aspects could be improved.

Our goal is to gradually improve Blyte throughout Early Access while staying true to our original vision for the game. Community feedback may influence gameplay, balancing, quality-of-life improvements, content, and certain development decisions.”

About This Game

Welcome to the test protocol, Subject EVA (yes, that is you).

Humanity is gone (good job, everyone), and you have just booted up in a flooded underwater research station. Your objective? Cross a vast, dried-up desert to reach a colossal white tower on the horizon. Your guide? A high-end flying assistant robot who deeply wishes they had been paired with a smart microwave instead of you.

Blyte is a first-person puzzle exploration adventure that blends a mysterious atmosphere with dark, absurd, and self-aware humor.

GAME FEATURES

  • Puzzles That Roast Your Intellect: Align lasers, patch steam pipes, and solve environmental puzzles while your companion robot commentates on your lack of progress. Are you slower than a snail on strike?

  • A Wacky Crew of Dysfunctional Robots:- Subject EVA (You): The experimental robot prototype doing its best.- The Guide Robot: Sarcastic, condescending, and operating on a very short fuse.- Dustin: A simple cleaning robot obsessed with finding his lost chrome bolt.- Dustout: His paranoid brother, who is terrified of suspicious-looking cacti and talking shadows.

  • The Flying Wooden Raft: Repair and pilot a rickety flying wooden boat powered by unstable nuclear thrusters, and defend it from sand-scorpions using a custom sand-cannon.

  • An Absurd, Meta Storyline: Discover the highly improbable cause behind the end of the world, and try to uncover what is actually waiting for you inside that colossal tower dominating the horizon.

  • Extremely Honest Loading Tips: Enjoy immersive loading screen highlights such as untangling Bluetooth earbuds, reticulating splines, or compiling the tears of ragequitting players.

"If this desert were a battery, we’d be at 1% for three days. Do you have a hidden charger somewhere, Subject EVA, or do you just like to suffer?"
