As a solo developer, I want to take the time needed to carefully build out the world, polish the experience, and respond to player feedback without rushing. As well as new missions as they progress through the narrative of a novice explorer growing into a seasoned field expert. “While playable with most of the base features, Field Notes is not a complete experience, with limited exploration options.

Currently, Field Notes contains one explorable biome, with a handful of plants and animal life to discover and document as well as the first few missions of the story to get the players started on their adventure.

Players have access to a few unlockable tools to start documenting wildlife, as well as the ability to explore the starting Expedition Station and the planet below.

You will also meet several characters which lead you into the story.”
