What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to allow the game to grow alongside players during development. It's a process of dialogue with players, involving them in the development process. It's also a journey of continuous improvement and refinement between the game and players. Your feedback, opinions, and ideas will help us shape the future of the game, making it more balanced, deeper, and more fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current plan is to release the full version after approximately 9 to 12 months of Early Access. During this time, we will make adjustments based on the amount of community feedback and player suggestions to ensure a high-quality release that meets the expectations of the general player base and is in the right direction.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more challenging maps and randomized level difficulty in the full version, and we're also continuously improving the game's refinement and optimization during Early Access. Early Access gives us the opportunity to prioritize the development of these new features based on what you—the community members—are most looking forward to, making the game even more complete.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Players can experience the first chapter's adventure content, controlling a pre-implemented hero character to explore a multiplayer world. The game includes 30 smaller levels within a larger main level, each potentially featuring a randomly generated boss and a series of enemies. There are three weapon types, one character, and each level is short but requires multiple attempts to complete. All necessary systems and core elements are in place (e.g., level progression, input, ammo, upgrade system, etc.). The main programming focuses on creating bullets, weapons, enemy attack patterns, and unique level threats.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase when the official version is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively gather feedback through the Steam Community, X Platform, email, and other social media channels. In addition to bug reports and suggestions, we would also appreciate detailed feedback on combat, level difficulty, and boss battles. We will share our progress through regularly published developer logs and patch notes, maintaining transparency throughout the process.”

About This Game

Adventure Jam is a surviror game.

Zone 7 burned for seven days.

The even brick streets melted into a black river; streetlamps flickered in the fog.

You crawled from the ash with a still-hot gun in your hand.

So the fog keeps one last lamp — they call it "Embers."

Tonight the first guests have arrived. Zone 7 is waiting for you.

Adventure Jam: Embers of Zone 7 is a dark-survival horde roguelite.

Pick a class, take its signature weapon, and cut a way through the horde.

— 100+ classes, a new build every run —

From Street Wanderer and Night Patrol to Cyber Hacker, Necromancer, Temple Knight,

Doomsday Judge and Void God — every class has its own starting weapon and identity.

Class decides your item and spirit capacity; card items expand slots, and full

weapon slots can be swapped.

— 870+ weapons · 800+ items · 6 rarity tiers —

SMGs, shotguns, Gatling guns, Tesla coils, orbit blades, black holes, drones…

Stack auto-fire into builds, or hunt legendary drops and forge your strongest run.

— Tyrants and allies on every map —

12 themed maps, from Corner Embers to Infernal Hell.

Go deep and a Tyrant appears; rescue trapped survivors and up to 2 comrades

will circle you and auto-fire, guarding your back.

comrades circling / Tyrant warning

Tyrant fight + ally rescue

— Death is not the end —

Waves, level-ups, pick-1-of-3 cards, gold and luck affecting drops, and a bestiary.

Build, die, run again.

Adventure Jam: Embers of Zone 7 — keep the last lamp alive.
