What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“For us, Early Access would be the perfect opportunity to adjust Rodent Company's development direction based on user feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be in Early Access for 1.5 years, though this could change based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more weapons, playable rodents, bosses, enemies, and a whole new biome during Early Access, while also improving the game's balance, visuals, and sound.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, Rodent Company will feature the basic set of biomes and enemies with the initial ending. It will also have 7 playable characters, more than 30 unique weapons, 96+ perks, and 60+ modules. Most core mechanics will be available at launch, with the rest added in future updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The increased scope of Rodent Company's content and enhanced player experience may lead to a slight price increase during and/or upon exiting Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re always excited to hear your feedback! You can share your thoughts on the Steam Community Hub, social platforms like YouTube and X, or by email. As Early Access approaches, we’ll launch a Discord server and link it here, giving you another way to connect with us. We’ll actively use your input to improve the game and keep you updated on development progress through all these channels.”

About This Game

Battle pests!

Fight those who stand between you and your ultimate prize! Raccoon gangs, pirate roaches, and other enemy factions will challenge you, defeat them and loot their weapons!

Gather weaponry!

Guns are randomly generated from the main parts and different modules with various effects. Even the same rifle model can be transformed dramatically every time you find it by underbarrel attachments, scopes, stocks, different magazines, and barrel attachments. Get those guns from chests, loot them from your enemies, and buy them in shops!

Upgrade your arsenal!

Gather powerful perks to gain stat boosts and cool effects. Upgrade your weapons in workshops or sell them to buy new inventory in shops.

Play with friends!

Rodent Company is better experienced with friends! Featuring local coop up to 4 players, its arenas are designed for each player number individually so the difficulty doesn't simply scale enemy health and damage - it adjusts battle size too.
