Always keep your restaurant clean! Otherwise, swarms of space cockroaches will invade your restaurant, destroying your defenses, devouring stored ingredients, and stealing any exposed food. Build defensive structures such as turrets, walls, and medics to protect your restaurant from these terrifying creatures.

If you run short on ingredients but happen to have collected enough cockroach corpses, process them into new ingredients! As for whether your guests can tell… that's another matter.
