About This Demo

The game consists of novel segments, where you read through the story, and adventure segments, where you interact with Reina and explore Tokyo.

The demo lets you play from the start of the story to the first half of chapter 2.

We plan to update the demo to eventually include the whole of chapter 2, letting you start from the point you reached before the update.

The full version of the game is expected to be between 10 and 15 hours of gameplay.

Rain98 is a Lo-Fi psychological suspense game that has you share a strange everyday life with Reina Amehara (V.A.: Rio Tsuchiya), a girl who dubs herself "Angolmois."

Talk with Reina, help her with whatever request she throws your way, and from time to time, journey together through a rainy Tokyo.

Live through those lonely days together as you carry forward the ritual to end the world.

Sharing a Roof with Reina

In the novel segments, you'll follow the story of Reina, a girl longing to see the world end.

Spend time with her in a nostalgic 1998 Tokyo and draw closer to the secrets she's hiding.

Special Little Things for Her

Whenever you do something special for Reina, you'll receive a sticker for her Angel Passport, thus progressing the ritual to end the world.

Build special little memories between the two of you, so that enough of a shared past will ensure there's no future to come.

Ending the World is a Costly Affair

Earn money doing piecework at home to support your living expenses. And if you earn enough, your days with Reina might get even more fun.

Walking through 1998's Shibuya, Tokyo, alongside Reina

Leave the apartment and head out into the rainy metropolis with Reina. Explore the Shibuya of the past, steeped in the unique retro atmosphere of the turn of the millennium.
