About This Game

The famous board game “Potion-making” is now on your PC!

🜁 The Story

At the dawn of time, the Great Alchemist used the power of the Philosopher’s Stone to create the First Tree. From its roots, a magical world bloomed — full of strange plants and wondrous creatures. Scholars from distant realms gathered at the School of Magic and the Library of Five Worlds to seek wisdom and power.

That was long ago.

Everything changed when the brilliant master Alexander Fulcanelli cast a forbidden spell upon the Essence of the Void. The balance of magic was shattered — and all living things vanished. With its final breath, the First Tree preserved the world from utter collapse.
Now, it calls upon gifted alchemists in all realms to restore what was lost. Answer the call. Visit the Three Sanctums of Power and bring back life to the magical world.

But restoring balance is no simple task.
In the story campaign of Potion-making: Path of the Alchemist, Fulcanelli himself awaits you in a world emptied of life.
He has mastered forbidden techniques, and with the Philosopher’s Stone, he can create anything. He surpasses every living alchemist in the craft of potion-making...
But does that make him truly invincible?

🜃 Game Modes

Path of the Alchemist

Each player steps into the role of a true alchemist. Your goal is to brew potions using ingredients in your hand, on the table and from the other players.

Each turn is divided into four phases:

Incantation – Cast spells that may change the situation in the round.

Creation – Brew potions using available ingredients.

Movement – Earn movement tokens by brewing potions. Use them to reach the Sanctums of Power on the map.

Recovery – Draw new recipe cards and end your turn.

The first alchemist who reaches all three Sanctums of Power wins the game.

School of Magic

In the days before the world fell apart, potion-making was a friendly competition.
In this mode, your goal is to earn the most victory points by crafting potions.
The one with the highest score wins.

🜂 Expansions

To enrich and challenge your experience, you can enable special mechanics inspired by the board game’s legendary expansions.
We recommend unlocking them once you’ve mastered the base game.

  • Heroes and Villains — adds unique characters with special abilities for each player.

  • Alchemy Gone Wrong — replaces magical creatures from the core deck with chaotic new ones.

  • Promo Talismans — start the game with a magical talisman in hand.

🜄 Online & Offline Play

Can you play solo or without a full party?
Absolutely. Potion-making: Path of the Alchemist allows you to experience all standard game modes against intelligent AI — no need to gather a full table for a complete magical adventure.
