Command a small company by voice. Orders cost actions and only carry so far, relaying unit to unit; past that you write them down and send them by hand. Isometric fantasy strategy with survival, building, and a campaign in progress.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Dungeoncraft has been rebuilt from the ground up. What's on Steam now is a new engine, a new command system and a new campaign. It isn't finished, and I'd rather people play it and tell me what's broken than sit on it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm not giving a date. It stays in Early Access until the campaign is finished.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The campaign is one tutorial and one preview mission. A complete tutorial and campaign are planned but not built. A finished gameplay concept, order system working out, co-op campaign, a wider range of enemies, and more to build with are all still to come.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Playable. Procedurally generated province, full unit simulation with needs and injuries, combat and orders. One tutorial and one preview mission of authored content; everything else is the sandbox. Singleplayer runs offline, co-op runs through Steam invites. Saves will break between updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may change when it leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Post on the Steam discussion boards. I read them.”

About This Game

Dungeoncraft is a fantasy real-time strategy game where your orders only travel as far as your voice. Your avatar commands the units nearby, and those units pass orders on to others. Anyone outside that chain keeps doing what you last told them, so for the rest you write orders down and send them by hand.

Build, fight and keep your people fed and rested while goblins raid you.
